It was a mommy-daughter date again while our daddy went to the gym. And for our second date, we tried playing at Kidsville Podium. Reading from other mommy blogs has got me really excited in trying Kidsville. This was the second playroom that we tried so I don’t know if there’s any more indoor playroom that can beat this up.
What really piqued our interest about Kidsville despite its expensive rate is its different mini villages. The kids can play doctors, teachers, farmers, photographers and store owners. It’s really fun, it can even bring the kid in every mom. So allow me to tour you around.
At the entrance to mini villages, St. Noah’s Hospital is going to greet you. Inside this hospital the kids can play pediatricians tending to babies lying on hospital bed. Or they can also be a radiologist reading the different x-ray films.
Yesha has really enjoyed tinkering the x-ray machine reader and using the telephone as though making an emergency call.
Alongside the mini hospital you will see the Kidzville high. Here you will see two mini computers with mini computer table, a black board and lots of books on the classroom at the second floor. I wasn’t able to get good photos, maybe on our next visit here again.
Across the Kidzville High is Jojo’s garage with a real beetle. There were screws and plies printed on its wall and a mechanic’s uniform hanged inside the garage’s cabinet.
Yesha went in and out of the car, feeling what it is like to play inside the real car. She also sat on the driver seat and stirred the wheel like a pro.
Beside Tyler’s Builder is Station 123 which is a fire station. Yesha stayed longer here than in the other villages. On its second floor we found a grocery items and a baby hanging on its wall. Yesha asked me to get the baby and took care of it herself.
At the front of the fire station there is the country barn. Yesha was afraid to go near the animals let alone touch them so I wasn’t able to take her photo with these farm creatures.
On her drive from the left side of the village back to where St. Noah’s Hospital, Yesha was multi-tasking. Caring her baby doll while driving. And She noticed that her gas was beginning to run out so she stopped at the nearest gas station.
Sweet Kei’s Cafe
At the front of the Fire Station is Sweet Kei’s Cafe. Inside there are mini tables where you can enjoy your order, and kitchen where there are ref, sink and microwave.
At the farthest left of the mini villages is where this mini grocery store located. You can choose from a variety of vegetables and fruits displayed in the boxes and different types of canned goods and items perching on the shelves.
The Play Area
Of course a play area where the kids can physically tire themselves out should not be missed. They can climb a stair, crawl inside a circular tube, glide in a tall slide, or swim in a pond of balls.
I was afraid to try their slide and I really have no plan to slide on it. But the adventurous Yesha kept on pulling me towards the slide, and so I was left with no option. I found out that it was not that scary at all.
Needless to say, both the mommy and baby enjoyed their more than three-hour play time. Our daddy and I decided to visit here once a month so Yesha can have her fun and adventure time. It was quite expensive but the experience was really worth it.
